The Men of Christ

The Men of Christ is a Ministry that is dedicated to enhancing the life of men and developing them into stronger Christians, more effective fathers, husbands and citizens. Our Ministry utilizes different approaches to educate men by teaching, serving, and fellowship.

Teaching - The Men of Christ have a Sunday School Class specifically for Men on Sundays starting at 8:45 am. We cover biblical topics that effect men and their responsibilities as church members and leaders, husbands, fathers and citizens. Come join us on Sunday mornings and become engaged in some interesting conversation about men from a biblical perspective.

Serving - The Men of Christ are very involved in the community. We meet the 4th Saturday of each month. We schedule monthly community service events. A few events that we participate in are, cleaning our neighborhood streets that we have adopted from the City of Charlotte, visiting and singing at the Va Nursing Home in Salisbury, NC, working with Loaves and Fishes, the Men's Shelter and other various activities. Come join us and help us to serve the community as Men of Christ.

Fellowship - Our Ministry accepts the fact that life should be fun! We have fun by scheduling events that we can participate in as Christian Men. Our Ministry has sponsored a Golf/Fishing Trip Weekend to Myrtle Beach. We are making this an annual event and we are in the process of scheduling another trip for September. The men have also participated in a weekend camping trip and invited the youth to come along. This was a great time by all, and a good bonding session with the youth. We are planning another camping trip in July.

We are always looking for Men to join and be a part of our ministry. If you are interested in learning, serving and fellowship come join us for one of our activities, or monthly meetings.
